&lt;p&gt;I simply don't have a release date as the dates come out fom the product teams, and that's not where I am. &amp;nbsp;So for SQL Server 2008 rc0, I was only told about it the day it was released.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I do agree that you need to plan, and I am really pleased you want to adopt it as soon as possible. &amp;nbsp;So we have said end of Q3, i.e. end of September, so you should plan for November. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
