It depends on what language your authored UI is using and, I guess, with which build of WiX V2 original sample was created.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Nevertheless, for demonstration purposes it is better to stuck to one, so changing it to UTF-8.&lt;/p&gt;
