Worth the price of admission

I was having a discussion over lunch today with a friend about some of the pain we've been separately dealing with in running Vista builds on our production machines.  I've been frustrated with some compatibility issues - both hardware (a new USB video capture devices) and software (Roxio) that don't work with Vista.  He's been frustrated by the lack of app support as well.

The problem with running Vista for a long time is you forget all the cool stuff that made you say "Wow!" the first time you installed it.  Every once in a while though, someone points out a nifty little feature that gives you a new "Wow!" feeling.

Today it was Tim Sneath.  Well done, Tim.  My desktop now has lots of room for more icons, and my faith in Vista is restored.
